Paper Abstract:
|
This paper presents a diagram to model context-aware software, the CCMD (Computational Context Modeling Diagram). CCMD is intended to aid developers during the definition of structures of contextual information that interfere in the use of software. In accordance with this purpose, the diagram provides graphical elements to model concepts related to computational context, e.g. contextual focus and dimensions. Contextual graphs are surveyed as a conceptual formalism to base the modeling of context-aware adaptation using WSBPEL (Web Services Business Process Execution Language). In this case, the adaptation relies on the information modeled by the CCMD that is transported to the WSBPEL via XSD documents. As a proof of concept, the proposed solution is applied in a study case that covers the making of a context-aware composite web service that serves contextual adaptation to client software. |
